After a whirlwind of college and scholarship applications in early January, many of our Key Club seniors wanted a service event that was a nice break from all the chaos. We decided to do a letter-making event where everyone could relax by making colorful cards to donate as a thank-you to frontline workers during the pandemic. We had a similar service event back in October, but with letters to firefighters, and had found some success in doing so.
Overall, we were able to collect over 15 letters to donate to frontline workers. Many of our members had fun showcasing their artistic and creative skills, so we had quite a few unique and well-crafted cards and letters. It is always a positive experience to be able to thank those who continue to help our community daily, as we have members whose parents are part of these frontline workers.
